Ghana – Passport and Visa required
 

Visa Requirements for U.S. Citizens

 TOURIST

• Valid and signed U. S. Passport (valid at least 6 months beyond the date of entry; with at least one blank visa page)  – photocopy is not acceptable

• Two (2) Visa Application Forms completed and signed. Application on thermal fax paper is not accepted. The application form must have original signature.

• Two (2) Passport Type Photographs

• International Certificate of Vaccination for Yellow Fever

• Computer generated flight itinerary from the travel agent or copy of roundtrip airline ticket

• Service Order Form

 BUSINESS

• Valid and signed U. S. Passport (valid at least 6 months beyond the date of entry; with at least one blank visa page)  – photocopy is not acceptable

• Two (2) Passport Type Photographs

• International Certificate of Vaccination for Yellow Fever

• Business Letter from U.S. company

• Service Order Form

Official or Diplomatic Travel

• Valid and signed U. S. Official or Diplomatic Passport (valid at least 6 months beyond the date of entry; with at least one blank visa page)  – photocopy is not acceptable

• Two (2) Visa Application Forms completed and signed. Application on thermal fax paper is not accepted. The application form must have original signature.

• Two (2) Passport Type Photographs

• Service Order Form

• Letter from sending department or agency, addressed to:
  
  Embassy of Ghana, Visa Section, Washington D.C.
  
  The letter must explain all of the following:
  • Applicant's position and title
  • Purpose of the trip
  • Dates of the intended travel
  • Contact person in Ghana

Consular Fee:       

$60.00/visa (7 to10 business day processing - Single Entry)

$100.00/visa (2 business day processing - Single Entry)

$100.00visa (7 to10 business day processing - Multiple Entry)

$200.00/visa (2 business day processing - Multiple Entry)
