Korea (South) – Passport and Visa required

U.S. citizens do not require visa to enter Korea for tourist or business purposes for a maximum stay of 90 days.  Valid and signed U. S. Passport (valid at least 6 months beyond the date of entry; with at least one blank visa page) is required.  For over 90 days stay, visa is required.
 

Visa Requirements for U.S. Citizens

 TOURIST

• Valid and signed U. S. Passport (valid at least 6 months beyond the date of entry; with at least one blank visa page)  – photocopy is not acceptable

• One Visa Application Form completed and signed. Application on thermal fax paper is not accepted. The application form must have original signature.

• One colored Passport Type Photograph

• Service Order Form

 BUSINESS

• Valid and signed U. S. Passport (valid at least 6 months beyond the date of entry; with at least one blank visa page)  – photocopy is not acceptable

• One Visa Application Form completed and signed. Application on thermal fax paper is not accepted. The application form must have original signature.

• One colored Passport type photograph

• Business Letter from U.S. company

• Service Order Form

 MILITARY VISA (SOFA)

• Valid and signed U. S. Passport (valid at least 6 months beyond the date of entry; with at least one blank visa page)  – photocopy is not acceptable

• One Visa Application Form completed and signed. Application on thermal fax paper is not accepted. The application form must have original signature.

• One colored Passport type photograph

• Business letter from the company requesting to issue a SOFA visa and indicate the reason why you need a SOFA visa (applicable to civilian contractors)

• Travel Order or LOA (example: letter from the Department of Army, Department of Navy, etc.)

• Applicant's military identification (ORIGINAL)

• Visa Application Form
